In a world where values are fast eroding. In a world were
nudity is being celebrated, and chastity abhorred and disdained. In a world
were truth has been relegated to the background, and falsehood put at the
forefront. In a world where promiscuity has become a fashion trend producing
baby mamas and papas…
The Christian Single men and women in today’s world are
being called by God and watched by a cloud of Heavenly witnesses (Hebrews 12:1),
to stand out and stand for godly values!
Mr. Joseph Jacob was a man of strong moral values in his
generation. That strong moral values was displayed in Genesis 39:9., which ultimately ushered him to his place of
destiny as a solution
provider instead of liability.
Diplomat Daniel, a Christian single, in a strange and
ungodly nation was a man of uncommon values. That uncommon value of reverence for
God’s Word was epitomized in Daniel 1:8…which ultimately made him to be
relevant to his generation; a man of uncommon wisdom.
Great values are built on strong moral foundation.
The Bible
says,
“for no one can lay
a foundation other than the one which is [already] laid, which is Jesus.”
Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11 AMP) .
Men and women become great
when they allow the values to take root within their souls and live by them.
Examples of godly values
The value of Humility (Philippians 2:3)
The value of Generosity. (Proverbs 11:25)
The value of excellence (Colossians 3:23)
The value of truthfulness (Proverbs 12:22)
The value of handwork (Proverbs 22:29)
The value of keeping your promises (Romans 4:12)
The value of telling the truth. (Proverbs 12:22)
The value of patience (Galatians 5:22-23)
The value of loving others (1Peter 1:22)
The value of chastity (1 Thessalonian 4:3; Ephesians 5:3)
The value of honoring elders (Romans 12:10)
The value of modesty (1 Timothy 2:9-10)
Listen friends, it is not hard to make decisions when you
know what you values are.
