"The way of a man with a woman" is one of those things in life even wise King Solomon in the Bible declared he did not understand.(Proverbs 30:19) and there is no one-size-fits-all method to form a godly relationship with fool-proof guarantees. What is clear is that the practices of past generations were not producing a society overrun with divorce and unfaithfulness, as ours has.
The philosophy of "dating" clearly cannot be trusted - the horrid fruits like heartbreak,unwanted pregnancy,suicide,abortion,lost of self esteem among others are too obvious!
What was once known as "courtship" made ways for singles to spend time together which honored God,were obedient to parents,less oriented to self and recreation, but more on others and responsibilities.
