Who is a father?
By God's standards, anyone who is a father should first be a
husband.
Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good
for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But because of the temptation to sexual
immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her
conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her
own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority
over his own body, but the wife does. Do
not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that
you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that
Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.(1 Corinthians
7:1-5 ESV)
A father is a male figure which provides protection, structure,
moral values, blueprint, vision, and purpose in a family.
A good father figure has the ability to project God's image, and
also increase the love for God's moral standards in the earth. Unless fathers
raise, there shall continue to be a void in fabric of society.
According to Michael Nutter, “A father is a person who’s around,
participating in a child’s life. He is a teacher who helps to guide and shape
and mould that young person. Someone for that young person to talk to, to share
with, their ups and downs, their fears and their concerns.”
Who is a mother?
A mother is someone to shelter and guide us,
Being a mother is not about the good looks, sexy body,
knowledge, slay queen, or her wealth, but rather those lovely and unique graces
which have its origin in God. These graces include, security, understanding,
patience, warmth, hospitality, love and compassion. (see Galatians 5:22-23)
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives:
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness,
and self-control. There is no law against these things! Galatian 5:22-23

A mother is someone to
love us, whatever we do, with a warm understanding and infinite patience, and
wonderful gentleness, too .A mother can utter a word of compassion. And make
all our cares fall away, she can brighten a home with the sound of her laughter.
And make life delightful and exciting. A mother possesses incredible wisdom. And
wonderful insight .and skill- In each human heart is that one special corner. Which
only a mother can fill!
I close with this quotation: “The most important thing a FATHER
can do for his CHILDREN is to love their MOTHER.”
