You don't need a prophet or a seer to tell you that the marriage institution has endured various shades of demonic assault. There are all kinds of ANTI-MARRIAGE SPIRIT manifesting in our society today and the world at large.
WHAT THEN IS ANTI-MARRIAGE SPIRIT?
Anti-marriage spirit is a wicked spirit that had successfully destroyed many people's marital glory.1 Corinthians 7:1-2, says, " Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. (KJV)
This spirit has made many marriages to become a burden instead of a blessing. How sad! It makes it difficulty to discover a good companion for marriage, they stand at the entrance of many marriages to scatter and destroy them; they introduce confusion and ensure that marriages are not successful.
WHY THE WAY AGAINST MARRIAGES?
1. Marriage is honourable. Hebrews 13:4
2. Marriage is to replenish the earth and keep the human race going.
3. Good marriage provide good companion, help and comfort in prosperity and adversity.
4. It signifies the mystical union between Christ and His church.
5. A nation starts from a small family.
6. Blessings abound in marriages. Genesis 24:60
7. The first miracle of Jesus Christ was performer at the wedding in Cana of Galilee. John 2:11
8. Two people can cause more terrible attack to the kingdom of the devil. John 23:10
9. A godly marriage provides remedy against sin and prevents fornication.
EXAMPLES OF ANTI-MARRIAGE ACTIVITIES AMONG SINGLES ARE:
1. Unfruitful courtship,
2. Fear to approach the opposite sex.
3. Late marriage,
4. Regular disappointments (jilting),
5. Evil stigma (as a lady you are so beautiful and yet men don't take you serious),
6.Destroyer of beauty,
7. Sickness/addiction that drive away serious partners,
8.Not discovering the right partner.
Irrespective of what you have experienced or going through, I have a good news for you that you will not be a victim of anti-marriage spirit but A VICTOR in the prevailing and overcoming name of Jesus. (Amen).
It is written in 1John 5:4 that whatever is born of God is VICTORIOUS OVER THE WORLD... (Amplified, emphasis mine).
If you are born of God (as in you have accepted Jesus Christ as your LORD and PERSONAL SAVIOUR and constantly looking unto Him); then there is no force in hell that can stop you from fulfilling your colourful marital destiny.
Overcoming does not only come by prayers: it also come by REVELATION!
You must have a functional knowledge of the Word of God; read it regularly, obey it, meditate and apply it to your life.
